Future Fund

Dear members,

We share your ambition for the club to be a place we can all be proud of

To realise the full potential of the club, several areas of our facilities and equipment are now ready to be enhanced and modernised 

Additional funding would enable us to accelerate these improvements, delivering meaningful and visible enhancements for the benefit of all members

In the recent members survey you identified the following areas for improvement:

• Update to the style and ambience of the restaurant and bar, including noise reduction
• Better furniture inside and out
• Repairs to ageing items: conservatory
• Updates to showers and toilets
• New Race Hut
• Safety Boat and hire fleet upgrades

The GC recognises that not all members are in a position to contribute further to the club.  However, for those who are willing and able, the Future Fund provides an opportunity to help bring these improvements forward.

Our target is to raise £150k - which equates to just £150 per membership if shared across the club and would enable us to deliver significant enhancements to our facilities. Similar initiatives have been successfully used by a number of local clubs to great effect.

The Fund will be managed through the clubs established capital investment process, with projects delivered according to priority and available funds.

Some members may wish their contribution to be recognised in an appropriate way, while others may prefer to give anonymously. Both approaches are entirely welcome, and we will agree suitable arrangements depending on the nature of each contribution.
