Junior RYA courses
Our Junior Start Sailing courses are the perfect introduction to life on the water—designed to build confidence, skills, and independence from day one.
- Stage One No previous experience required. You'll learn the essentials, including boat handling, controls, capsize recovery, and everything you need to get safely underway.
- Stage Two With the basics in place, its time to explore further. You'll develop your sailing technique, learn how to optimise boat performance, and gain the skills to confidently sail where you want to go—and back again.
- Stage Three This is where it all comes together. You'll refine your skills to the point of independent sailing, with your instructor nearby for guidance. From here, you take charge as captain of your own vessel.

Adult RYA courses
Our adult courses follow the RYA Start Sailing syllabus, designed to get you out on the water safely, confidently, and—most importantly—enjoyably.
- Level One The perfect starting point, with no previous experience required. Youll cover all the fundamentals of sailing, from the ground up, building confidence as you go. By the end of the course, youll be able to sail comfortably and head out independently under supervision.
- Level Two Ready to take the next step? This course focuses on refining your technique and developing true independence on the water. Youll learn key manoeuvres such as Man Overboard recovery and coming alongside a pontoon—equipping you with the skills to explore further with confidence.

Powerboat Courses
The RYA Powerboat Level 2 (PB2) course is the UK's most widely recognised powerboating qualification, providing the practical skills and confidence needed to safely operate a powerboat. Over two days, you'll learn boat handling, manoeuvring, safety procedures, navigation basics, and how to deal with real-world situations on the water.
